I think the concept of validation starts as soon as we hit the 1st day of school/college/work. All we crave for is that little pat on the back to make us feel elated. Love how you navigated and lovely to see someone write telling you to be who you are! These kind of species are rare nowadays. embrace them !

Ah I also used to yearn for those stars in my early school days. maybe that's when it all started

Haha maybe. Also teachers sometimes make smilies too with sketch pens and this all feels so nostalgic now.
